Montana Fly Fishing

Thing’s are looking pretty good on almost all the rivers. The Blackfoot has turned Glacier Green with about 2 feet of Vis. The goldens are thick and some salmon flies also if you check the willows. good time for a double nymph rig, always looking for that afternoon dry fly window.
Bitteroot is just about prime flows on the upper half of the river. And the Forks are perfect flows but… there is some hazards up there. Salmon flies and goldens and a few drakes. A lot of pressure tho. 20-30 boats at least. The best stuff is late afternoon. Clark Fork is the one river that may be a week or so still.
