BOOK YOUR FLY Fishing TRIP TODay!

Montana Fly Fishing

Things are feeling a little more like Autumn. This next few day’s will see cool weather. Highs in the 60’s and some clouds will help the Mayfly’s. Have your BWO box and Hecuba’s. Hopper fishing is still really good on most stretches with a trico dropped off the back. Flows are still at record high flows compared to the last 100 years so life is good on the water. Upper Clark is fishable with a mild algae problem. Blackfoot has been a little slow to get going in the AM so first hour may require a dropper or even a nymph rig. Today’s dropper that produced was a BWO nymph. Peach hoppers still are hard to beat.

Good stuff out there so enjoy..
