Well its pretty much time! March is here and so are the bugs. Well not really, but we did spot an adult in the air today as the front passed through. Several nymphs moving towards the shore also. Warmer weather is on the way and hoping it doesn’t get warm enough to restart and kind of water push yet. Look for the best conditions to be cool overcast days. These are not necessarily sunny day bugs. Too bad. It won’t be long till were constantly ﬁshing at least one dry. Don’t forget your green and yellow soft hackles and bigger rubber legs. Is one ﬂy the Champ maybe? But it could be a different pattern that fools a bigger ﬁsh that’s been caught once or twice this year.

Fishing trip for 3 days We had 3 great days of float fishing on the Blackfoot, Clark Fork and the west fork of the Bitterroot. Doug Jones and his guides do a great job on the float providing a friendly and welcome atmosphere. Doug is a very experienced guide and knows how to put you on the fish regardless of your experience level.
