Bumping

Well the flows have steadily come up over the last week. Warmer temps…really warm 80’s. Can you still catch fish on top yes, just a little tougher than last weekend. Picking your float once again can be the name of the game. Some late June stone flies have been showing up on the lower Clark. Which is odd, to say the least. What does it mean. Who knows.
The next week will show us a lot. If we get another week or so of 80’s it could mean that once again late June will be the prime fishing days of the summer.

Best we can do is hope for some wet weather this spring and cool nighttime
temps. Right now enjoy the weather and get whats left of the pre-runoff conditions.

Fishing trip for 3 days We had 3 great days of float fishing on the Blackfoot, Clark Fork and the west fork of the Bitterroot. Doug Jones and his guides do a great job on the float providing a friendly and welcome atmosphere. Doug is a very experienced guide and knows how to put you on the fish regardless of your experience level.
